Permanent magnetic separator is used for separation of dry, friable, and liquid material from ferromagnetic inclusions. Ferromagnetic particles are present in almost any technological process as a result of corrosion, intensive wear of elements during drilling or grinding. Besides relatively small ferrous parts of scale, corrosion and wear, separated material can contain quite large metal things: fasteners, remains of welding and mechanical work, part of equipment used at earlier production stages (during the extraction of raw material, primary processing, or transportation).
Magnetic field of the separator attracts magnetic impurities to the surface, thus separating them from the processed material.
